I’ve often wondered, do cool and innovative ideas ever come out of a cube farm? I read this quote from Robert Redford in inc.com:
“Do you think the earth was created by an accountant?” he asked a reporter in 2003. “No! The earth was created by the combustion of a creative explosion. Fire and chaos are what started everything. Then order came on top of that.”
Great business ideas are also created by a combustion of creative explosions as well; the type of creative explosions that don’t occur in cube farms. Or maybe I’m wrong.
