I’ve said this a few times in the past, but my goal is to go from a one person marketing consultant to a marketing firm. Over the holiday season, I began taking the steps to build the marketing firm.
My first step was to partner with my friend Usman Sheikh, who is a serial entrepreneur and loves working with startups.
Our second step was to create the look and feel of a marketing firm. That’s why we created Cloud Marketing Labs (www.cloudmarketinglab.com). Cloud Marketing Labs is an outsourced marketing department for small and midsized technology companies.
Our marketing services are built around three underlying principles:
- Your customers, not your products and services
- Clear communication that is easy to understand
- Generating sales: You can have the best content strategy in the world, but if it doesn’t generate sales, then it is a waste of money.
Finally, Cloud Marketing Labs is about eating our own dog food. How we market to you is how we’ll market to your customers.
