Some people think that marketing is just a slogan or commercial or some colorful advertisement that’s placed in the newspaper. In truth, the slogan, commercial, and newspaper ad are merely the tip of the iceberg.
The real marketing comes when you determine what your company’s story is – or better yet, what your customers tell you what your story is. What do I mean by your company’s story? I’m referring to what your company represents. Does your company represent extreme “out of this world” customer service? Or is it 100% carbon neutral? How about having the most amazing design? Once you determine what your company is and live it every day, then creating a commercial or slogan or print ad is easy. Well, maybe it’s not easy, but it’s easier.
