The other night I was watching a documentary on the Vietnam War. Here’s what I found interesting. American commanders determined the success of a battle on whether or not the kill ration was in their favor. In other words, if they suffered more fatalities than we did, then the battle was successful.
On the other hand, Vietnam commanders watched an entirely different number. They were far more concerned with the popularity of the war amongst the US Civilians than they were with how many men they lost in a given battle. They understood that when the war became unpopular, the American army would eventually leave.
Ultimately, the Americans never lost a single battle.

We measure our success based on the number of referrals we receive. Becuase we do not advertise, our ultimate success lies in the hands of our customers to spread the word. If we are not getting referrals, we are not succeeding.
